I am thrilled to announce that this Sunday, November 18 on Super Soul Sunday (one of my favorite shows on television), Oprah Winfrey is sitting down with three friends of mine who have been named up-and-coming leaders from the next generation of spiritual thinkers: Marie Forleo, Mastin Kipp, and contributor for Positively Positive, Gabrielle Bernstein.

Getting the chance to go on the road with Oprah for her Lifeclass Tour earlier this year inspired me greatly and opened my eyes more fully to the paths and callings of several leaders in the world of personal growth. This is just one of the reasons why I cannot wait to see what kinds of insights come out of this hour-long conversation. I am looking forward to hearing more about Mastin, Gabby, and Marie’s spiritual experiences, life perspectives, and the personal events that sculpted their beliefs today.

I know it will be beneficial for anyone who tunes in, so mark your calendar for Super Soul Sunday this Sunday, November 18, 11 a.m. ET/PT on OWN, or log on for the worldwide simulcast on Oprah.com and Facebook.com/SuperSoulSunday.

Here is a sneak peak of the episode.

Watch this video for Oprah’s thoughts on this week’s show and gain insight to the missions behind Gabrielle, Mastin, and Marie, and why they believe their generation is so spiritually aware.

In spirit of the conversations that will flow on Sunday, we have compiled a Q&A with Gabrielle, Mastin, and Marie.

Be inspired, be challenged, and join in the discussion in the comment section below. We would especially love to read your responses to the same questions asked of Gabby, Marie, and Mastin. Also, who are some of the spiritual thinkers that have influenced you?

My name is…
Gabrielle Bernstein

Describe yourself in 140 characters or less:
I am a Spirit Junkie and a glass-half-full kind of woman who is committed to a miracle mindset. I’m a speaker, an author, and raconteur for love.

On the next generation of spiritual thinkers:
The next generation of spiritual thinkers understands the importance of heightening the consciousness at this time. They hear the call and are ready to rise up as leaders. They understand that the shift must begin internally in order to lead with authentic power.

Spiritual “Aha!” moment:
When I was twenty-five, I had a quarter life crisis. I was addicted to work, love, drugs, food, you name it. I intuitively knew there was much, much more, but I struggled to clean up my act. Then, on October 2, 2005, I prayed for a solution. I said, “God, Universe, whoever is out there, I need a miracle.” I woke up that morning, and I heard an inner voice say, “Get clean, girl, and you’ll live a life beyond your wildest dreams.” I’ve been sober since that day, and I’ve been on a steadfast journey inward. My spiritual practice has become the most important part of my life, and I am committed to growing my faith each day.

Spiritual thinkers who have influenced you:
Marianne Williamson, John of God, Yogi Bhajan, Wayne Dyer, Louise Hay, Bill Wilson

How do you start your day? What practice?
I have a very dedicated spiritual practice. I begin each day with a prayer from A Course in Miracles: “Where would you have me go? What would you have me do? What would you have me say and to whom?” Then, I do a half hour of Kundalini yoga and meditation.

Three things I would need on my deserted island:
A Course in Miracles, an iPad with my Kundalini mixes, water

How I take my morning coffee…
I’m ninety days off of coffee. I recently replaced it with a green smoothie.

My name is…
Mastin Kipp

Describe yourself in 140 characters or less:
A guy who doesn’t know what impossible means and is trying to find out what Love is and be it.

On the next generation of spiritual thinkers:
We understand there is no hierarchy or middleman needed to connect to the Divine. We believe we are all teachers and students and we are all going through a similar version of the same transformation. We believe that authenticity and truth is more powerful than pretending to be something that you’re not and that imperfect is the new perfect.

Spiritual “Aha!” moment:
Happened at a Tony Robbins event. I realized I had lived the majority of my life thinking that the more important I am, the move Love I will get. But then Tony helped me to realize that the more loving and serving I am, the more important I become to those whom I love and the world.

Spiritual thinkers who have influenced you:
Jesus Christ, Buddha, Katrinka Terra, Caroline Myss, Joseph Campbell, Herman Hesse, Hippocrates, Marianne Williamson, Barack Obama, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Napoleon Hill, St. Francis of Assisi, Jan Shepherd, Esther Hicks, Thomas the Apostle, Rumi, Hafiz, George Lucas, Richard Branson, Eckhart Tolle, Wayne Dyer, Steven Pressfield, Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Eric Butterworth, Emmet Fox, Gabrielle Bernstein, S.N. Goenka, Yogi Bhajan, Lady Gaga, Coco Chanel, and the one and only Tony Robbins (to name a few)

How do you start your day? What practice?
I wake up, practice fifteen minutes of meditation/sadhana with mantra music, and then journal my thoughts, feelings, and desires, followed by a hot shower and hard work out at the gym.

I am happiest when:
I am in service to others and when I am writing.

Three things I would need on my deserted island:
A MacBook with infinite power, internet connection, and a GPS device (This way, I could be saved. Haha!)

Favorite quote:
“Furthermore, we have not even to risk the adventure alone; for the heroes of all time have one before us, the labyrinth is fully known; we have only to follow the thread of the hero-path. And where we had thought to find an abomination, we shall find a god; where we had thought to slay another, we shall slay ourselves; where we had thought to travel outward, we shall come to the center of our own existence; where we had thought to be alone, we shall be with all the world.”—Joseph Campbell

Favorite books I have read lately:
Four Hour Chef by Tim Ferriss and Turning Pro by Steven Pressfield

Daily mantra:
Give, love, serve, detach.

How I take my morning coffee:
Half low acid coffee, half unsweetened almond milk with two serving of stevia

My biggest inspiration:
My mother and father, for without whom I might have believed the world instead of my own intuition

My name is…
Marie Forleo

Describe yourself in 140 characters or less:
Passionate, expressive, intuitive, loving, strong, energetic, optimistic, life-long learner, and let’s not forget, fancy dancer 🙂

On the next generation of spiritual thinkers:
Grateful and honored to be considered one, inspired by the others, and beyond excited to keep growing, learning, and sharing.

Spiritual “Aha!” moment:
When I really got that I have a mind, but I am not my mind.

Spiritual thinkers who have influenced you:
Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, Eckhart Tolle, Byron Katie, Pema Chodron, Rodney Yee, and Joseph Campbell

How do you start your day? What practice?
A cup of yerba mate tea and cozy time with my love and my pup. Then meditation. Then green juice.

You would be surprised to know:
That I love BIG roller coasters and make the best twelve-hour pasta sauce in the world.

I am happiest when:
I’m creating, connecting, and making a difference to others.

Three things I would need on my deserted island:
Good friends, great food, and amazing music

How I take my morning coffee:
Usually it’s yerba mate, but when I go for coffee, I love it with agave and soy milk.
