Don’t sit down and block the road of life — whenever life enters a period of dynamic growth, there will always be a complete lack of familiar patterns. With this lack of familiarity comes tremendous discomfort . . . you feel like you don’t fit in. To fit back into the older and more comfortable and familiar patterns requires a refusal to grow. This is the reason why individuals refuse to grow forward, and why cultures, religions and civilizations refuse to grow forward. This refusal, and even a reversal of growth, will disconnect the life from its source of deeper nourishment and cause physical, mental, emotional and social stagnation . . . all while reaching for the familiarity of old environments.
You are currently in such a moment of history — this is why there’s so much disconnection between populations and their environments that support life; between one group of people and the lives and concerns of other groups, and between the unfamiliar movements of the future and the traditions of the past.
These disconnects are all caused by a fear of the unfamiliar. The changes are going to take place regardless — that is not a question — the individuals, the cultures, the nations, and the religions are all going to have to work within these changes.
The question is — how much fear, will cause how much violence and resistance to the changes, as the inevitable changes are taking place.
Our prayer is that you help humanity become more comfortable with this uncertainty; that, by your words and actions, you relax humanity’s resistance to the unfamiliar, so that the new growth can more easily find its new patterns in the new environments that will ultimately become the new familiarity. Prepare yourself to have whatever courage will be required to be a leader in this historic period of dynamic growth.
Don’t try to fit in . . . you always fit perfectly in you. @gurusinghyogi (Click to Tweet!)
