How did you feel toward the end of last year?
Were you thinking about how to step into a bigger space of creation in your life?
The end of a year usually does that to us, doesn’t it? It becomes a time to reflect. To make new vision boards. And these days it feels like those vision boards don’t have images of cars and jewelry on them, but images of connectedness. Of being PART of something larger.
At the end of the year, I tend to retreat a bit so I can burst through the next part of my journey here on Mother Earth.
This year was no different.
I don’t believe a mini-retreat away from the norm of day-to-day is unusual. Some people dream all year long. Others pick certain time marks like a season or a new year to make a commitment to themselves.
A commitment can look simple, like releasing some weight (physical or emotional). Maybe taking a bit more control of our health. A wee bit more exercise….
Follow through … now that’s another story.
As the holidays were approaching last December I recognized my own desire to shift.
I realized I had not stopped to take a breath in five years. I stopped noticing the everyday miracles.
I craved change.
And not that the past five years haven’t been friggin’ unbelievable, but I needed a massive pause so I could step into the next level of awesomeness.
The power of what was possible actually became overwhelming to me.
Success began to look quite different to me.
I began to envision a deeper level of connectedness with my family, my business partners and even with YOU.
And I’m not talking about balance. I don’t believe in balance. We are always moving in and out of balance.
So balance is not what I was craving.
It was the hand I wanted to place on the back of your heart. It was the you, and the me, and the way we could SEE each other.
And in order to do that, I needed a pause.
I needed to remove a bit of this and that in my life – the details that were no longer serving me.
I needed to be able to open my eyes again, which would then allow that deeper inhale to come through my physical body again.
Success to me is the authenticity I choose, to stand in my body and be ME. @hayleyhobson (Click to Tweet!)
Success is the warm and fuzzy feeling I get when I choose to see you and connect with you.
Our thoughts are powerful, aren’t they?
What thoughts are YOU choosing today?
Are they allowing you to align with where you want to be in your life?
