Once upon a time, a nobleman was walking through the village and saw a poor peasant sitting on the stairs of the monastery. The peasant was counting his prayer beads between his fingers, whispering a silent prayer. The nobleman sat down next to the peasant and said with contempt:

“You see the orchard and the farm on the hills in front of you? I own everything you see. The forests around the village, the lands, and the lake are mine. Even the ground you walk upon in this village is mine. I see you’re praying. What do you got?”

“I have the sky,” said the peasant, smiling in peace.
