Soul evolution and long-term success is hardly ever a straight shoot. It can be messy, acutely challenging and thrilling at the same time. Sometimes on our way to fulfilling our big vision we forgo growth, earned wisdom and beautiful surprises.
We label, plan and because we’re uncomfortable with uncertainty we obsess about having to know.
Intuition serves to protect, gives a heads up and helps us navigate from into the future. But if your radar is on like a heat seeking missile feeling out a situation of having to know if something is good or bad, wrong or right before it can really develop. Then you’re missing the point.
I love my alignment to my intuition and it has served me well. And there are times where you can see or feel from a still point that something isn’t going to go the way you’re expecting. You can feel it as you move through the course.
We get drawn into situations that will activate a greater potential in us. Or maybe something we need to learn, awaken to or perhaps discover a talent that we’ll ultimately need in the long run. Not everything needs course correction. Allowing it to play out despite your expectation can give us an unexpected beautiful twist on something we were sure about.
Not knowing an outcome forces you to be present with what’s emerging right now. It keeps us naively positive in ways that don’t dampen the lesson unfolding in real time.
You’re not preparing for some imagined circumstance, but an openness to own the moment regardless of the outcome.
Not having to know where you’ll end up geographically allows you to fully develop within a city’s energy. Where if you had a heads up, either way, it could skew the current potential of where you’re at. Growth isn’t just about progress but soul evolution, in a way that extracts wisdom to facilitate a greater possibility.

Not knowing you’re a shoe in for a job, gives you lots of room to give it all you have and dig deep for those game-changing ideas. And if you don’t get it, allow it to empower for what it can activate in you for your perfect job.
Not having to know gives you acceptance to just be in a world without the overwhelming message of needing to have a plan down to a minute. I believe in having a plan, especially for big dreams. But not having to know where my plans can take a divergent u-turn gives me hope for finding magic off the beaten path.
Not having to know if he or she is the one gives you permission to love without expectation. Loving unconditionally liberates you down to the roots of your toes. And grounds you deep in your heart.
Not having to heal a specific thing, but trusting the light to be directed exactly where it needs to go to restore. Gets to the miracle of the matter. It restores not just the health, but faith.
Is a name of a tree, planet or thing eluding you? Sit in surrendered wonderment with it and feel its essence. Listen and it will share with you endless things about it. More than the label culture has deemed it to be.
Not having to know illuminates all those things we may have never discovered, experienced or become… if we knew. It gives expanded space to breathe in another possibility and explore creation…which is infinite.
What’s the beautiful surprise waiting for you?
