December 31st and January 1st is just another moment…fictional and imaginary as a new year. Persians have a New Year in Spring; the Jewish people have New Year in the Fall; the Chinese have one in early February; the Vedic New Year is Winter Solstice, when the sun is weakest, but only in the northern hemisphere. However, the fact that so many people are celebrating in a single moment is what gives the moment its power; gives the moment loft…the same loft that lifts an airplane, in this instance gives wings to the moment. New Year’s Eve is such a moment…the loft of collective conscious focus gives power to your resolutions. Take advantage of this moment in which billions are celebrating.
Three generic intentions or resolutions that are helpful to create:
- More ease in your physical body and world
- More calm in your emotional experience in the world
- More clarity in your mental perception of the world.
Something to note: the tendons throughout your body, give your body tendency…which means the way in which you normally sit, stand and move also creates the way you normally view, hear, smell and feel. Rearrange the way in which your tendons hold you, and you’re rearranging the tendencies through which you receive the sensory information…this is what forms your opinions, conclusions and beliefs.
Any change in your beliefs will change the way you actualize the moments of your life. @gurusinghdaily

There’s an ancient yogic saying, “If you want to change the way you think — change the way you breathe, and the way you hold your body and your hands.”
By arranging the ‘tendons’ in your body posture, you arrange the ‘tendencies’ of how your physical body affects your emotional experience, affects the mental clarity of your entire experience.
Therefore, a great resolution at the center of this New Year would be conscious posturing…like doing yoga. Our prayer is that your coming year — of 2+0+1+6=9 (the year of prayers answered) — answers your prayers; provides you with the tendencies of physical ease, emotional calm, and mental clarity…to give your intentions and beliefs the wings that fulfill your needs and desires.
